AIMS DOYEN TO BE AMONG LEADERS IN MARINE SCIENCE IN MAGNETIC ISLAND INSTALLATION OF THE MUSEUM OF UNDERWATER ART
One of the eight sculptures to be installed as a part of the Museum of Underwater Art’s (MOUA) installation on Magnetic Island will pay homage to Townsville’s Dr Katharina Fabricius who has built a career at the Australian Institute of Marine Science (AIMS) in researching ecological processes in coral reefs.
Dr Fabricius has been a key researcher at AIMS since 1995 after moving to Townsville in the late 1980’s to continue her work with coral reef health.
