MAGNETIC ISLAND’S “GIANT CLAM MAN” TO BE ONE OF EIGHT NEW SCULPTURES
One of the eight sculptures to be installed as a part of the Museum of Underwater Art’s (MOUA) installation on Magnetic Island has been revealed to be modelled off Magnetic Island’s own Dr Richard Braley.
Dr Braley, internationally recognised as the ‘Giant Clam Man’, has been working with the spawning of giant clams since 1986 and has been an integral part of North Queensland’s marine science family for over 40 years.
